Hotel stay right by the fjord
Hotel Strandtangen is located on the edge of the Limfjord and with a magnificent view over the fjord and the marina.
As a neighbor to the hotel, and in the middle of the beautiful Krabbesholm Forest, is the old, beautifully renovated sanatorium Resenlund. In the buildings there are, among other things, Skive Music School and Helledie Glaspusteri, are worth a visit.
Skive city offers cozy pedestrian streets decorated with works by local artists, and in 2006 the city became known for “The 11 stars“ that decorate all roundabouts.
Our rooms
The hotel has 53 units which are tastefully decorated by Fr. Monika Ritterband is a Danish artist and former studio host and journalist.
All rooms/suites and apartments have access to a corridor with tables and chairs, or a private terrace/balcony so that you can enjoy the fresh nature and the view.
Enjoy a glass of wine or beer which can be collected from our well-stocked Maxibar in the reception area which is open around the clock – 24/7.
The hotel has 33 suites/apartments, 18 double rooms and 2 single rooms.
8 of the rooms have a swallow passage and a view of Skive Fjord and the rest towards the beautiful Krabbesholm Forest.
The mansions
On the outermost bridge in the marina are 8 detached A-houses – also called Sjeagtehuse.
The houses, like the apartments, are approx. 50 sq m. and furnished with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and open kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and crockery for 4-6 people.
They are extremely charming with sloping walls and the living room is furnished with a chaise longue (double sofa bed), armchair with pouf, B&O TV, radio, and the option of accessing wireless internet.
All 8 cottages have access to their terrace with garden furniture right in the middle of the marina. There is also the possibility of having a boat lying by the houses
